Glenn founded BP Builders in October 2020, bringing decades of hands-on and leadership experience in the construction industry. Starting as a carpenter apprentice in the mid-90s, he worked his way up through journeyman, superintendent, and project manager roles before achieving his goal of starting his own company. Known for his ability to balance multiple tasks while staying connected to the field, Glenn is passionate about helping people bring their construction dreams to life. Outside of work, he enjoys hockey, softball, hunting, fishing, and even picking blueberries.

As Chief Operating Officer of BP Builders, Jonathan Ballmer brings a strong blend of operational excellence, people-centered leadership, and a commitment to quality. With years of industry experience, he excels at turning strategic vision into efficient, measurable results. Jonathan leads with empowerment and collaboration, fostering open communication and ensuring every team member feels valued. His focus on accountability and continuous improvement helps streamline operations, elevate project delivery, and strengthen BP Builders’ long-term growth. Deeply connected to the community, Jonathan supports local organizations and encourages the next generation of trades professionals. Susi has been with BP Builders since March 2023 and brings over 10 years of construction experience. A Duluth native, she grew up in the industry and has held leadership roles across local organizations. She’s passionate about teamwork, organization, and mentoring women in construction.

Samantha joined BP Builders in 2024, bringing a background in business administration and strong skills in organization, communication, and collaboration. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree at Bemidji State University and enjoys traveling, spending time at the lake, and building her career for the future.

Connor Hemme joined BP Builders as an Assistant Project Manager in 2024. He brings hands-on experience from a carpentry internship and running his own mailbox replacement business. Connor is developing his expertise in estimating and project management and recently completed his first full project, the Northern Waters Float Center. Outside of work, he enjoys woodworking, hiking, pickleball, and Minnesota sports.

Greg has been in the construction industry for over 37 years and has spent the last three years with BP as a Superintendent. He began his career building houses with his stepfather before moving into the Union, then spent 19+ years with RJ’s working on commercial and light industrial projects. Over the past 8–9 years, he has focused on multi-family housing and has served in supervisory roles since 2001. In addition to being able to self-perform most facets of carpentry at a high level, Greg has developed strong experience in reviewing, planning, and executing construction projects of all sizes, including coordinating subcontractors and managing claims. Throughout his career, Greg has completed numerous industry trainings, including scaffold and rigging training, forklift and aerial lift operation, first aid, and lead abatement. Outside of work, he enjoys mountain biking, golf, skiing, hiking, and time spent outdoors. Greg is passionate about getting things done right.

Ross has been with BP Builders since day one, bringing 30+ years of construction experience. Known for running efficient job sites and solving any problem, he values hard work, customer care, and passing knowledge to the next generation. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, farming, and family life.

Eric has over 30 years of construction experience and joined BP Builders in 2023. With expertise in project pre-planning, timber framing, and finish carpentry, he is committed to running safe, efficient jobs. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, woodworking, and spending time with family.

Robert joined BP Builders four months ago with 30 years of industry experience. With strengths in leadership and problem-solving, he also continues working on his family farm. He enjoys the outdoors, his Native American heritage, and spending time with family.

Aaron brings 32 years of experience in residential and commercial carpentry, joining BP Builders in 2023. A hardworking leader, he enjoys building strong relationships in the industry. He loves hunting and fishing with his sons, and is most passionate about being a devoted husband and father.

Logan brings more than 25 years of commercial construction experience to BP Builders, with a background in large-scale projects across the country, including hospitals, multi-level parking ramps, and major commercial developments. His experience includes 10 years as a field engineer for one of the nation’s largest privately held construction firms, with approximately $6.4 billion in annual revenue. Logan specializes in layout, structural work, cast-in-place concrete, structural steel, block, and metal framing. Originally from Duluth, he returned home after nearly 30 years away and is proud to be back in the community where he started. Outside of work, Logan enjoys cooking, writing, hunting, fishing, spending time with his family, and cheering on his Northern Stars hockey player.
